Lifestar Emergency Medical Services, Founded in 1995

Service Area: Washington County and all adjacent counties in the southeastern Wisconsin area.

Station 1: Centrally located in West Bend in Washington County to provide quick responses to your needs.

Station 2:  Located on Weil Dr. to provide 911 response to the Village of Slinger and surrounding area.

Emergency Medical Care and Transportation: Lifestar provides West Bend and the surrounding area with basic and advanced life support care. This includes transports with EMT-Intermediates and registered nurses. Lifestar provides transport to the destination of your choice including: healthcare facilities, assisted living centers, and private residences. We respond for medical emergencies, trauma situations, interfacility transfers and non-emergency transports.

Long Distance Transfers:  Lifestar offers ambulance transport to all parts of Wisconsin, as well as out of state locations for patients coming to the southeastern Wisconsin area.  We have transported to and from locations as far away as Chicago, Madison, Rochester MN, and Arkansas.

Billing:  Lifestar EMS accepts Medicare and Medicaid assignment and directly bills all insurance companies.

Transportation for the Elderly and Disabled:  In December of 1998, Lifestar bought Specialized Transport Services of West Bend. With this addition, Lifestar is now able to transport clients to non-emergency medical appointments and other places.

Community Education:  We offer first aid and CPR classes to the general public, community groups, and local businesses.

On average, Lifestar EMS runs over 3000 ambulance calls per year.
